As we sat on a Goan beach on our honeymoon, the sunset neared the horizon. There upon the shore was a scene unfolding in front of us. The crew of the fishing boat “Jesus Christ” was preparing it’s nets for the next early morning fishing trip. There was nothing in the world pressing my brain, I was just able to sit and watch.
This photo was taken in early March. India has been in lock down for a long time now, and I wonder how people like the crew of the “Jesus Christ” are coping. With no tourists to eat the fish, they must surely be suffering. Meanwhile the fish stocks are getting a well deserved break. I hope when the crew return to the waters they will have bountiful trips.
