I took this photo from the summit of Snowdon, Wales, in late November 2020. We hadn’t had a decent long hike in a long time so we go up early and headed to the mountains. The weather forecast was very changeable, from glorious sunshine, to a day hiking in thick cloud. We decided to give it a chance and it really paid off. The clouds formed as they rolled over the mountain tops and changed so quickly, it was mesmerising to watch. The paths on the mountain and summit were pretty much empty and it was great to be alone but in the wilderness, instead of alone and trapped at home!
I love this photo so much that I have on a 2×4 ft canvas print above my stairs. Strangely enough you can now buy your own print too through my online store!

Amazing photos Sam
