I’m really proud of this shot of McWay falls, Big Sur, California. Yes, it is one of the most photographed locations in the world I expect, but I really like this photo because it took no editing on the computer afterwards and I got it right “in camera”! I used a 10 stop neutral density filter to cut out the light to allow for a long exposure of 30 seconds. Luckily there was zero wind, so the trees and foreground flowers and vegetation are in focus.
This photo and also the recent ones I posted of Mesquite sand dunes in Death Valley are now available for purchase in my online store.
