Last week I spent a good couple of hours trying to decide how I would photograph this infamous tree. The subject of many landscape photography prizes, the view changes over the year depending on the water level and also over time with surrounding vegetation. As a well known Welsh icon I thought it would make a wonderful addition to my Welsh Landscape collection. You can purchase prints of the lonely tree in a variety of sizes from my online store.

Lovely B&W Sam. It’s very true that the same scenery can look very different depending on the time of year. This tree has been on my “to shoot” list for quite a while and one day I may finally find the time to make my own image.
