I had a great time working for Kayda Outdoor Products during a photoshoot in Shropshire. We had a talent team of 4 adults, 4 children and a black Labrador! Plus myself as the photographer. The objective of the shoot was to get images of the products not only been worn but also used for their intended purpose, including rock climbing. Kayda Outdoor make a variety of clothes plus accessories like sandwich wrappers, picnic cutlery sets and foldable dog water bowls. You can see what they have to offer at https://www.kaydaoutdoors.co.uk/ Scroll down for the “Behind the Scenes” video!
If you would like to hire me for a photo shoot then please don’t hesitate to contact me. I can offer a range of styles and services including videography and drone videos and photos. I have my Rescue 3 Working at Height certificate and can work from a rope independently.
For the photo shoot I used an OM System OM-5 camera with Olympus 12-40mm f2.8 PRO lens and a Olympus EM-5 mkII with an Olympus 45mm f1.8 lens. I love using both cameras for this kind of project as they are reasonably unassuming and not intimidating to the talent like some giant cameras out there. The 45mm prime lens has excellent sharpness and lovely soft bokeh. I had several other lenses with me just in case, but didn’t need them in the end. The BTS footage was filmed by Henry on a GoPro Hero 11.
